Professional Development Committee

The mission of the St. Paul Community Literacy Consortium’s Professional Development Committee is to develop highly trained St. Paul ABE staff through consortium collaboration, communication, feedback and professional development opportunities.

The committee:
  • Coordinates Teacher Network Sessions
  • Develops SPCLC Governance Committee Trainings and Discussions
  • Oversees database training in the consortium
  • Connects professional development opportunities between St. Paul Public Schools and St. Paul Community-Based Organizations
  • Inventories and promotes statewide staff development opportunities
  • Recruits local trainings and trainers for MN Department of Education and Summer Institute events
  • Acts as a liaison between the MN Staff Development Coordinator Meetings and the SPCLC
